Carson Valley Children’s Aid provides an array of interventions and support services with a focus on the strengths of individuals in developing skills to address their needs and setting goals that lead to successful lives. CVCA is distinguished by its agency-wide trauma-informed approach along with a fundamental belief that children, youth and families are capable of overcoming adversity, fulfilling their potential and thriving.
CVCA offers programs such as Rapid Service Response (RSR),Truancy Prevention and Intervention, Parents As Teachers (PAT), Norristown Housing Resource Center - Your Way Home, Alternative Response Housing Initiative, Family Reunification, Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), Residential Care, Community Homes, Supervised Independent Living (SIL), Outpatient Mental Health Services, Intensive Behavioral Health Service (IBHS),Family Based Mental Health Services (FBS), Student Assistance Program (SAP), Women’s Voices, Healthy Choices, Day Treatment, Licensed Private Academic School, and The Schoolhouse.
